Midhat Becar is a craftsman that manufactures hand made filigree jewelry in small series and quantities. If you ask him about his work and filigree making in Bosnia and Herzegovina he will say that the situation is worrisome and filigree almost entirely disappeared from our region because We could freely say that his work is some kind artistic because filigree is a delicate kind of jewellery making from twisted threads made of gold or silver. It requires a lot of patience, knowledge, artistic approach, but also very specific tools for that kind of work.
