They say that they used to be thirty-three, but as time passed by and people were modernized with decreased need for them, now we can find only about twenty of them. We are talking about water mills that were in past decades used to grind wheat, oats or barley and which is located on beautiful Plivsko lake near the town of Jajce.

This is another in a series of beautiful tourist spots that can be found in the royal Bosnian town of Jajce. There we can also see, with a beautiful landscape and rich streams of water, a very important part of the way of life of older residents of these areas. Residents of nearby villages at these times brought there the wheat and for the service the money was not taken as a payment , but the "tenth" of the amount of the flour.
