Photo safari at Tjentiste

Tjentiste is a central part of national park of nature Sutjeska that contents one of the only two remaining primeval forests in Europe called Perucica. It's very nice place also famous because of a large monument build by stone that reminds us of great Partisan victory over German army at World War II.

Remains of the 7.000 men died at that battle rest there and that valley is also called "Valley of the heroes". But beside horrible things that occurred there in the past today we can enjoy nature and calmness of that area. Beach wood trees and endemic black pines forests are great for cycling, hiking and walking. If you are photographer that's the right spot to free your imagination.

Most of the pictures was taken at Tjentiste, but some of them is taken at Klinje lake and villages Meduljici and Kljuc which are located in Gacko municipality.
