Building of sports and recreational center in Kupres

It was confirmed from the municipal administration of Kupres that the construction of sports and recreation center, whose value, according to project documents, is around 20 million convertible marks, will begin this year.

The Mayor of Kupres, Mr. Stjepan Herceg, said that this is a sports and recreational center that will cover area of 200,000 square meters at the location of Čajuša within which will be built four large soccer fields, handball and volleyball court, tennis courts and other supporting facilities.

Herceg has confirmed that the construction of this center will take place in several stages and that this will be one of the largest projects under the development of summer tourism on Kupres plateau, which, he said, is an ideal place for quality preparation of sports teams and top athletes.
